                                         In Papau New Guinea their are 94 volcanoes, Most of the volcanos are located in New Guinea with 28, though New Britain Island has 27 volcanoes.


Their are several ways to avoid volcanic erutions, simply live in an area with no active volcanoes, around, and if you can't do that good bye, just kidding.


Ways to avoid the danger of Mr. Volcanoes  is forecasting, when the volcanoes will erupt Earthquake recording using seismographs,    Studying picture of volcanoes taken from satellite in space, or aircraft, or from ground. Making measurements of gases coming out of volcanoes, esc


An using volcanic alert codes whose levels of alert constantly change non erupt volcano green, active volcanoes orange yellow.

Papau New Guinea Hazard maps show 4 volcanoes to be above normal background kadovar, karkar, langila, bagana

Papau New Guinea extreme weather events

 In papua new guinea, severe drought caused by strong el niño event in 2015–2016 affected about 40% of the population, with almost half a million people experiencing food shortages.  When Papau New Guinea expereinced food shortages the goverment asked for international help which they got. The severe drought led to the death of alot of crops and live stock. Papau New Guinea farming industries took a major hit with hundreds of millions dollars of damages. The Goverment incitedpolicy to counter the effects of drought such as building ground water tunnels. An growing more trees, and putting regulations to fight pollution. Because of the dorught, many people had foor shortages. Which required donatons of food and aid to be fed.
