THE WEEKLY #175: MADANG, PAPUA NEW GUINEA - Journey Era

I picked Papua New Guinea, because someone already picked Japan, Taiwan, Canada, I picked Papua New Guinea, because I thought it is a very interesting place, it is a very diverse isolated place, the people are interesting  and fascinating I think. Several kinds of natural hazard such as earthquake, tsunamis are common in Papau New Guinea. Earthquakes, and Tsunamis are frequent in Papau New Guinea, with a notable one killing over 2,000 people in 1998.

The  difference between natural disasters and natural hazards is that natural hazards are a natural process events, that threaten human life and disaster is an event that threatens humans life with a with a time limit, when you mix them together you get a natural disaster, if it fits one of these criteria

1. At least 10 people killed

2. At least 100 people affected

3. Declared state of emergency

4. Request international assistance

My favorite scientist is I don't know I don't have one.
