August 22, 2020 I picked Papua New Guinea, because someone already picked Japan, Taiwan, Canada, I picked Papua New Guinea, because I thought it is a very interesting place, it is a very diverse isolated place, the people are interesting and fascinating I think. S everal kinds of natural hazard such as earthquake , tsunamis are common in Papau New Guinea. Earthquakes, and Tsunamis are frequent in Papau New Guinea, with a notable one killing over 2,000 people in 1998. The difference between natural disasters and natural hazards is that natural hazards are a natural process events, that threaten human life and disaster is an event that threatens humans life with a with a time limit, when you mix them together you get a natural disaster, if it fits one of these criteria 1.
